Notorious Cuts Barbershop

Went to notorious a couple of days ago to get my ‘past my shoulders long hair’ cut. I asked her if I could get a low taper on the sides and back, get rid of my middle part and get my hair really textured, like the reference video that I showed. She then asks me how short I want the taper. I said, ‘oh just like the one in the video I showed you’. She started scolding me about when coming to the shop, I need to know exactly what I want. Like if I wanted a number 1 or skin fade and things like that. I didn’t know what number the fade in my reference was, so I couldn’t even answer her question. She’s shaven my hair into this short curtains and just leaves for around two minutes. I think she was serving a customer, cause they finished and they were in a group. Anyways, she came back (a lot nicer and more understanding) and starts discussing my hair. She says something in the lines of ‘if we want to slick your hair back, we’ll need to do this and this’. I never even discussed a slicked back hair and the reference video showed a messy no part hair. I didn’t wanna argue with her anymore because I didn’t wanna cause anymore trouble. When the haircut was finished, she just talked to me about the haircut that she just gave me, so I knew what to get next time, which was nice. Overall, I barely got the haircut that I wanted, my sideburns were uneven and the taper on one side wasn’t even shaved enough/was shaved too much. I used to always come to notorious before I started growing my hair and never experienced this. I would recommend the shop to anyone, but I hope this doesn’t happen to them.

First time using this place and i was extremely happy with it, had my cut done by Nadz and she knew exactly how i wanted it and even gave me some great tip's for my beard, will definitely be back and highly recommend the place.Price's are higher compared to what you pay in Perth but that is understandable as they have to compete with other barber's up here which charge quite alot more mind you, but with the service i got i say it was worth every dollar.

Quite high prices for a low quality budget cut. Waited about 30-45 mins to get a cut, in which time one of the barbers popped out for a cigarette break with less than an hour till closing and a full house of patrons.Unfortunately it seems as though the business is run by owners who live elsewhere or don’t check in on the place often. If it were my business, I wouldn’t want it run like this. On a positive note, they sell hats in-house which do a fine job of covering up the poor workmanship.

Good atmosphere. Great banter with the boys. Real good with my fidgety son.

Ok so skin fade and beard frist Time was 60 , second Time same for 86 and third same for 100 $ ,What is the difference ? the day of the week? I have frequented many barbers all around the country and I am sorry to tell you that your prices are made as you wish...be careful how much you pay.

I’ve been travelling Aussie for the past 16 months and had my hair and beard trimmed at places all over the country.I will say this is a quality shop, with a good atmosphere and great staff (especially the woman who cut my hair and beard). But they are clearly aware they have no competition in Karratha and are charging extortionate prices (25% more than anywhere else I’ve been in Aussie) and because of this I would unfortunately never return.5 stars for the staff member who tended me.

Today was my first haircut and shave here. They styled my long hair and it came beyond my expectations. They all have a great sense a humor and were very friendly.I can't recommend them more, it was a great experience.Thank you guys I will return.

Nadz is the girl..attention to detail,hard case Banter.petty about the stinkn power cut,but finished just in time..

As usual was good to get there early, straight in for the haircut. Probably the only disappointment was the massive price rise $45 to $60, not advertised. Still will be back.
